In my house…. IT'S BOTH!

This rice pudding hits that sweet spot while also filling you with sustainable protein! It's super simple, and whips together so quickly. It is very customizable but here are my fool proof ways! Best part- its kid friendly! Feel free to add any toppingsyou like! Or favorite consist of- banana, frozen fruit, PB, and those are mostly the kids because it's delicious on its own!)

Ingredients (to feed a family of 5)

4 cups cooked rice

4 cups milk (I enjoy coconut milk)

1.5 scoops vanilla protein powder (check it out in my shop!)

Some salt, vanilla, and drizzle if maple syrup (to desired sweetness).

Directions

  1. Combine rice and milk in stock pot over medium heat

  2. Add protein powder and salt until thoroughly combined

  3. Stir regularly about 20 min (longer for thicker consistency & vice versa)

  4. Off the heat, add vanilla and maple syrup. (Sit 5 min to firm up)

  5. Enjoy hot or cold!
